I received my Bachelor’s degree from Marycrest International University in 2002 in Social Work. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work in 2005 from Saint Ambrose University. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and other Drug Counselor in the state of Illinois.
Throughout my career I have worked in various settings throughout the helping profession. Those jobs include but are not limited to: transitional housing, child welfare, substance abuse, women and children's programs, mental health treatment, private practice, community mental health center, etc.
I have conducted various training’s given to members of substance abuse agencies, mental health agencies, law enforcement programs and bar associations.
Most recently I have begun teaching college classes. I also provide motivational talks for companies and organizations throughout central IL.
